Today the Minnesota Wild finally decided they had had enough with James Sheppard as they shipped him out to Chicago along side Robbie Earl. In return the Wild received Jeremy Morin who, in his one OHL season so far, lit the lamp 46 times. He played on an absolutely dominant line with Landeskog and Skinner. He is not expected to play this year but he will be a threat in 2011-2012. Wild GM Alex MacDonald who is a descendent of Pierre Morin dit Boucher who arrived in Acadia in 1654 says that the potential blood ties made Morin an fit in his organization.

Quinton Howden of the Moose Jaw Warriors has been dealt to the Minnesota Wild, in return the Wild part ways with Marco Scandella and Jason Zucker. The Wild are Excited to now have the 6 foot 3 Howden in the organization and can't wait until 2011-2012 when he is expected to crack the roster.

It's a happy day in the the State of Hockey as the Wild have re-acquired big defensemen Kurtis Foster for goaltender Josh Harding. It was a deal GM MacDonald was very pleased to make and very excited to make as well. Kurtis will log some important minutes on the Power Play and Penalty Kill.
